IWMI and HIRA Global Sign MoU to Advance Climate Information Services and Integrated Water Management Solutions
On October 16, 2025, the Integrated Watershed Management Institute (IWMI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HIRA Global to formalize joint efforts in the global deployment of climate information services and integrated water management solutions.
Through this partnership, IWMI’s expertise in data, modeling, and water management technologies will be combined with HIRA Global’s international project operation and management capabilities. The collaboration will focus on generating measurable outcomes, including reducing flood and drought risks, improving water quality, and supporting carbon reduction.
Building on this MoU, both organizations aim to expand cooperation with governments, development finance institutions, and local partners. Together, IWMI and HIRA Global will work to develop evidence-based and field-oriented climate adaptation solutions that can be effectively implemented in diverse international contexts.
